Ingredients to make Roast Pork with Apple Glaze

4 pound pork, loin roast
6 each apples
1/4 cup apple juice
3 tablespoon sugar, brown
1 teaspoon ginger, ground

Directions to make Roast Pork with Apple Glaze

Step 1:Rub roast with salt and pepper. Brown pork roast under broiler to remove excess fat; drain well.
Step 2:Core and quarter apples. Place apple quarters in bottom of crockpot. Place roast on top of apples.
Step 3:Combine apple juice, brown sugar, and ginger. Spoon over top surface of roast, moistening well. Cover and cook on Low 10-12 hours, until done.

Ingredients to make Fruit Sauced Baked Ham

5 pounds Ham
1/2 cup Brown sugar
1 teaspoon Dry mustard
Whole cloves

Cumberland Sauce:
1 cup Apple jelly
1/4 cup Orange juice
1/4 cup Lemon juice
1/4 cup Apple juice
2 tablespoons Honey
1 tablespoon Cornstarch

Directions to make Fruit Sauced Baked Ham

Step 1:Remove skin from ham; score the surface with shallow diagonal cuts, making diamong shapes. Mix brown sugar and mustard; rub into fat of ham. Insert a whole clove in center of each diamond shape. Place ham in a large roaster with a baking rack. Bake, uncovered at 325~ for 20 - 22 minutes per pound.
Step 2:FOR SAUCE, combine all the ingredients in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring often. Serve over the sliced ham.
